The AUTOSAR® specification is published as a model created in Enterprise Architect, and as a bunch of PDF files. This makes it difficult to search for specific reference information - you have to search through many PDF files. If you want to compare, what has changed between two AUTOSAR® versions, you have to compare the content manually.
Therefore I created the MAXAR2 AUTOSAR® Metamodel Reference application with the following key features:
- It supports all AUTOSAR® v 4.x Classic and Adaptive versions, up to the latest 11-24.
- All data is taken directly from the officially released AUTOSAR® The tool simply presents it in a convenient form.
- You can see the documentation of all the AUTOSAR® classes, enumeration types and primitive types in the tool.
- All data is hyperlinked – you can jump to the documentation of any referenced object by clicking on the link.
- Elements and properties that are new or changed in a particular AUTOSAR® version are clearly marked in the display.
- The timeline of each element is displayed.
- The tool is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions, both with exactly the same functionality.
- The tool can be used and distributed free of charge.

You can download the MAXAR2 AUTOSAR® Metamodel Reference as a separate application here, or as part of the MAXAR2 Automotive Tools package as 64-bit or 32-bit app.
